Carlton XL Modern Arc Brass Floor Lamp with Natural Fabric Shade

Price: £200.00

Beautifully sculptural and effortlessly elegant, the Carlton XL Modern Arc Floor Lamp is designed to make a statement in contemporary living spaces.

A larger interpretation of our much-loved Carlton Arc Floor Lamp, this extra-large design features an impressive sweeping brass-effect frame and a generously proportioned natural fabric shade, bringing a beautiful balance of architectural form and understated luxury to your interior.

Standing at an impressive 200cm tall, the Carlton XL is particularly suited to living rooms, where its elegant curved silhouette allows the shade to extend gracefully over sofas, armchairs and seating areas. A wonderful alternative to a traditional ceiling pendant, it introduces soft overhead lighting exactly where you need it, without the need for any additional wiring.

The warm brass finish adds a lovely sense of richness, whilst the natural fabric shade gently diffuses the light to create an inviting, atmospheric glow. An adjustable shade angle allows you to refine the direction of light, making Carlton as practical as it is beautiful.

Whether introducing a statement floor lamp to a spacious living room, creating a cosy reading corner or adding another considered layer to your lighting scheme, the Carlton XL offers a timeless combination of contemporary design and everyday functionality.

For smaller spaces, the Carlton is also available in a more compact version, offering the same elegant modern arc design on a smaller scale.

Easy control:

The on/off switch is located on the lampholder (tucked inside the shade) - for easy control!

Ideal for:

• Making a statement in contemporary living rooms and spacious interiors
• Bringing soft overhead lighting to sofas and seating areas
• Creating a beautifully layered lighting scheme without a ceiling pendant
• Complementing Scandinavian, minimalist and mid-century modern interiors
• Adding sculptural elegance and warmth to cosy reading corners

Our Lighting Designer’s Tip - Layering Light in Your Living Room

One of our favourite ways to use an oversized arc floor lamp is to position it just behind a sofa, allowing the beautiful sweeping frame to extend over the seating area.

This creates a lovely pool of light from above, without relying on a traditional central ceiling light, whilst the elegant silhouette adds height and architectural interest to your interior.

We particularly love pairing a statement floor lamp like the Carlton XL with smaller table lamps and subtle accent lighting around the room. By introducing light at different heights, you create a much softer, more inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing in the evenings.

For the loveliest effect, we’d recommend a warm white 2700K LED bulb, allowing the natural fabric shade to diffuse a beautifully soft, ambient glow.
