The Jocelyn 3 Light mid century bar pendant is the collection’s most versatile ceiling fitting — a slim natural brass bar suspending three ribbed blown glass globes at evenly spaced intervals. It’s a format that suits a long dining table as naturally as it does a kitchen island, bringing warmth and craft to surfaces that benefit from layered, distributed light rather than a single central source.

The slim bar profile keeps the fitting from feeling heavy or imposing, while the three globes give it enough visual weight to hold a room. Each globe diffuses light individually, creating a warm, inviting spread across the surface below rather than a single concentrated pool. The braided gold cable adds a considered material quality, and the natural brass finish coordinates directly with the rest of the Jocelyn collection — pairing cleanly with the 5 Light chandelier, the 3 Light semi-flush, and the single wall light.

Drop height is adjustable between 28cm and 121cm at the point of installation, giving genuine flexibility for rooms with varying ceiling heights or surfaces at different heights. Whether hung low above a kitchen island or at generous height across a dining table, the proportions remain right.
Dimmable when paired with suitable bulbs.

Above a dining table or long surface:

The key to a linear pendant is proportion. As a rule, select a fitting no more than two-thirds the length of the table or surface beneath it — so for a 150cm dining table, a fitting up to around 100cm wide is ideal. The Jocelyn bar at 70cm suits tables from around 105cm upwards comfortably. For extra-long surfaces, consider hanging two bar pendants in line rather than one oversized fitting.

The bottom of the fitting should sit approximately 76–91cm above the table surface — close enough to feel warm and intimate, high enough that it doesn’t interrupt sightlines across the table.

Above a kitchen island:

Install the fitting so the bottom of the globes sits approximately 76–91cm above the island surface. When hanging multiple fittings side by side, space the widest points at least 76cm apart for good airflow, light spread and clear visibility across the worktop.

For any other position, subtract the total minimum drop from your ceiling height — your minimum head clearance should be 2.1m.

Delivery & Returns

UK deliveries are 6 days a week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm although this can vary depending on the courier used. Orders over £90 include free standard delivery, otherwise, it is £4.95.
