The Ordelle Wall Light draws inspiration from the Arts and Crafts and Cotswold design traditions, reinterpreting their emphasis on craftsmanship for contemporary interiors.

Hand-finished tea-smoked glass surrounds the light, its hammered surface creating rich texture against the warm antique bronze metalwork.

Adjustable arms allow the fitting to open out, extending its reach and spreading light across a wider area. The shades can also be rotated for different looks, to suit your space perfectly.

Our Lighting Designer’s Tip - Using Wall Lights to Layer Your Lighting

Many spaces start off working with a single light source — modern downlights in a new build, perhaps, or a pendant or two. It’s easy to think that’s enough. It isn’t.

To create space that feels alive, styled and welcoming, you need to layer your lighting. Wall lights are an essential part of this.

The additional lighting layers aren’t about brightness. They’re about breaking your light free from overhead — because light that only comes from above is flat, clinical, and uninviting.

What you’re building with the addition of wall lights is warmth: multiple low-wattage sources, each contributing something soft. Get this right and you’ll feel it the moment you walk through the door. So will your guests.

For living spaces and hallways, start by positioning wall lights either side of a mirror, or either side of a piece of artwork with a mirror on the opposite wall to bounce light back through the space. Mount them at 150–170cm from finished floor level to the centre of the fitting, and consider choosing a mirror with a metallic frame that ties back to your fittings.
