The New David Hunt 2022 Collection has Landed!

Explore the brand new arrivals from our favourite British luxury lighting manufacturer; David Hunt.

It’s been an exciting time at Lightbox HQ. We’ve started to welcome new Laura Ashley lighting products in-store and now, the new David Hunt lighting collection for 2022 has also arrived! In amongst the boxes and the wrapping, you’ll find the team admiring the very latest table lamps, pendants and wall lights. Here’s what you can expect…

Statement lights with classic appeal

A statement light doesn’t always have to be a glittering chandelier – although if you want opulence and luxury, they are certainly a go-to light fitting – and as David Hunt shows, a modern take on a traditional classic can be equally as enthralling.

The Lattice table lamp from David Hunt brings together the bulbous curves of an urn-shaped base and intricate latticework detailing, resulting in a stately table lamp that is just as confident on its own or in pairs.

Available in a classic cream and gold combination or black and gold, we are offering this as both lamp base only option or complete with handmade shade (as pictured).

With the same colourways of black and gold or cream and gold, the Gingko table lamp also brings a style statement to a room.

We love it when lights match and complement each other and so using the table lamps with the Gingko wall washers gives even more emphasis in a room.

The large leaves of this ancient tree are replicated in the minutest of detail in the table lamp base. Again, this is another table light option that is stylishly versatile, making it ideal for the living room, illuminating the hallway or adding detail to the dining room. It will, of course, look stunning in pairs or when teamed with its matching Gingko wall lights.

Black & Gold Elegance

It is a time-honoured combination and it seems that black and a gold metallic finish is the go-to pairing for this season – and beyond!

As well as The Lattice and The Gingko table lamp in black and gold, the David Hunt studio have also included the striking Imperial table lamp in a black and gold finish.

We’re offering the table lamp with black silk shade and warm gold lining so you get this elegant look wrapped up in one complete set of base and shade. With the shade, it measures a statuesque 71.5 cm in height, perfect for when you need a lamp that oozes grandeur.

Did you know…?

We also stock the Imperial table lamp in gold clear glass and in two sizes – small and large?

Another wonderful gold and black table lamp combination is the David Hunt Basket table lamp. If you enjoy intricate detailing and a quality finish, then this is certainly top of the list.

The basket has intricated gold fretwork casting and, once again, we are offering the lamp complete with a shade. In this case, we’ve opted for the oval roll edge shade in black silk and a warm gold

Exquisite detail & finish

There are many reasons why David Hunt lighting is so popular, but one reason is that the lamps and lights on offer are unique, with a style of their own but without being time-limited by fads or trends.

The Ammonite table lamp is simply stunning.

We could leave that there and say nothing more about it, allowing you to admire the very fine detailing of this coiled, snake-like shell table lamp base. An exact replica of a fossilised shell, this table lamp will have a space in your home for years to come.

Sitting on a black base, this table lamp would look stunning with a black shade (get in touch when you order and we’ll help you choose the right shape and size) or you can, of course, match it with a colour that complements your décor.

And finally, The Botany Verdigris has a patina that is all its own. Verdigris is the name given to the green tinge that sits on the surface of bronze and brass after exposure to seawater or air. It can also be achieved through an acidic process but it has to be in skilled hands to ‘look’ and feel right.

The artisan team at David Hunt have created a wonderful finish to the Botany table lamp base. We’ve added a silver shade to create a stunning complete set.

And there’s more to come…

This is just a handful of table lamps in the new David Hunt lighting collection. Keep checking back to see what more delights make it into our range!
